The Thank You Foundation

Effective January 1st 2014, The Board of Directors have voted to end operation of The Thank You Foundation.

Since 2006 The Thank You Foundation has operated primarily as an all volunteer organization funded solely on individual contributions and donations.

Over the last several years the amount of groups and organizations with similar missions have increased while donations and volunteer support for our organization have decreased.

It is unfortunate that The Thank You Foundation is unable to continue its "Mission of Appreciation", however, more and more businesses, professional organizations, and the country as a whole have embraced and understand the importance of expressing gratitude to those that serve and that have served our country.

Even though there is still much work to be done and there are many more resources available to the community we serve than ever before, we are proud of our accomplishments over the last the 7 years and have always considered it an honor and a privilege to support and to say thank you to the thousands of Veterans, Military Personnel, and their Family Members.

The foundation will continue to operate administratively to fulfill obligations to the IRS, and State of Ohio as well as the transfer and funds for the Cincinnati VA's Serenity Garden Project until the end of February 2014.

If you are need of support we have provided a list of resources below that may be of assistance. Additionally we have provided contact information for the foundation if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Lastly, it was timely that the Today show aired a segment on the morning of December 31st with Matt Lauer interviewing recipients of The Congressional Medal of Honor. In the interview the question was asked by Mister Lauer, "during the season, people will travel and see members of the military getting on and off the planes and getting in uniform. what should we say to those people when we see them?"

The answer provided... " just thank you".

Today Show Interview with Matt Lauer »

To those that serve, to those that have served, and to the families that supported them...

You answered the call and gave of yourself so that we all may enjoy our freedom. In recognition of your service and sacrifice we say... Thank You
