The Thank You Foundation becomes a Yahoo Powered - Good Search Partner

CINCINNATI - February 14th, 2008 - The Thank You Foundation announced a new way to help support our Troops and Veterans without ever spending a dime or leaving the comfort of your own home. The Foundation has become a partner with the Yahoo Powered Search Engine, Good Search. When an individual selects The Thank You Foundation as their designated charity and performs a standard internet search, Good Search donates 50% of its revenue, approximately a penny per search to The Thank You Foundation. In addition, individuals can use the "Good Shop" an online shopping mall (www.goodsearch.com/goodshop.aspx) to make purchases from stores such as Best Buy, Target, Kohl's and even I-Tunes. Each purchase designated for The Thank You Foundation will result in a donation to the Foundation from Good Search. "Technology has changed the way people conduct their lives, and in this case everybody wins." stated John Guinn, President and Founder of The Thank You Foundation. "The mission here is to help get care packages sent to our troops, help provide support for our Veterans, and show that America cares. A lot of people want to help but they may not know how or have the resources. This an excellent way to help us show our heroes that they are appreciated." Guinn added. All funds generated by using Good Search will go to support programs offered by the Foundation. In late 2007 the Foundation announced plans to build a Mobile Health Unit to be donated to the Cincinnati VA and in 2008 has begun focusing efforts on health care, transitional, education and employment services for both active duty and retired members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
