Cincinnati, OH - February 20, 2008 -- A new program called "Blue Skies for the Good Guys and Gals" will give Disabled Veterans and Purple Heart recipients the opportunity to go tandem skydiving.

Team Fastrax Professional Skydiving Team and Start Skydiving along with The Thank You Foundation announced today that it will launch the program on Friday, May 16th. The effort is not only designed to say "Thank You" to some of our Nation's Hero's, but it also offers them an opportunity to overcome challenges and participate in an exciting sporting activity.

"These are our Nation's finest and brightest and we have an obligation to do whatever we can to lift their spirits and show them how much we care, said John Hart, founder of Team Fastrax and owner of Start Skydiving. "As a Gulf War veteran and 20 year Army service member, I am honored to sponsor and support The Thank You Foundation's efforts to have a special impact on these men and women."

The program will kick off at Start Skydiving in Lebanon, Ohio on Friday, May 16th in support of the VA Welcome Home Celebration at Lunken Airport the following Saturday evening. Selection.com, the Nation's premier background screening service provider, in conjunction with The Thank You Foundation is spearheading the corporate charge to raise the funds to make these skydives happen. Individual jump sponsorships or donations to the program can be made online at The Thank You Foundation's website.

John Guinn President of The Thank You Foundation added, "We know how successful other programs have been at helping to change lives and offer a renewed sense of accomplishment. We hope that this will have the same therapeutic value and it is certainly a lot of fun". The group's hope that as the program grows it can be combined with a full day of activities topping off with the tandem jump.
