Husband and wife both served in Iraq

CINCINNATI Monday, April 2nd, 2007 - The Thank You Foundation presented two members of VFW Post 9622 in Mason with Certificates of Appreciation and two tickets to the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day. Jerry and Tracy Hughes both served one tour at the beginning of the Iraq War in 2003. Army Specialist Jerry Hughes served with the 40th Engineer Battalion while in Iraq and his wife Sgt. Tracy Hughes served with 501st MP Company. "We really appreciate the support of groups like yours" Hughes commented. The couple were chosen as part of the Foundation's "Tickets for Troops" program. Post Commander Roger Yost was on hand for the ceremony. The Thank You Foundation, a non-partisan, non-profit organization is dedicated to enhancing the lives of the men and women of the Armed Forces and their family members.
