CINCINNATI Friday, May 4th, 2007 - The Thank You Foundation and Gold Star Chili honored two Veterans on Friday at the Gold Star location in Covington.

US Marine LCPL Carl Schneider from the 3rd BN 25th Marine Regiment in Iraq and US Army SPC Christine Matthews who served with the 272nd MP Co in Bosnia both received Certificates of Appreciation from the foundation as well as tickets to Fridays Cincinnati Reds game against the Colorado Rockies as part of The Thank You Foundation's "Tickets for Troops" program.

Gold Star Chili provided a wonderful dinner and a warm welcome for LCPL Schneider, SPC Matthews and their guests.

John Guinn, President and Founder of The Thank You Foundation and Rick Smith, Secretary and Treasurer also had dinner with the guests of honor. Guinn said, "As always, it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to meet the real heroes and extend our appreciation for what they have done."
