The Thank You Foundation Honors Iraq War Veterans at The Montgomery Inn Boathouse

Husband and Wife both served in Iraq

Cincinnati, Ohio - May 18, 2007 - The Thank You Foundation presented Certificates of Appreciation and provided dinner for PV2 Angela Hampton and SGT Joseph Hampton, both who served tours of duty in Iraq with the US Army.

Angela Hampton, a Chemical Operations Specialist with the 4th IBCT, 1st Infantry Division of Ft. Riley Kansas is currently serving a 15 month tour in Iraq.

Sgt Joseph Hampton served 13 years in the Army as a Transportation Specialist served two tours in Iraq and was also involved with Operation Desert Storm.

Angela is from Forrest Park and James who is originally from New York City were recently married on January 16th 2007.

Foundation President John Guinn stated, one of our volunteers suggested calling Marcia Iker of the Yellow Ribbon Support Group to see if she could recommend anyone for our "Tickets for Troops" program. With Angela due back in Iraq the scheduling didn't work out. However, The Montgomery Inn Conference Center had donated Gift Certificates so we were able to coordinate a nice evening at the Boat House.
