Lebanon, OH - Saturday June 2nd, 2007 - In honor of National Military Appreciation Month, Lebanon Ford hosted their second annual Military Day, to honor and thank hometown heroes for their dedication and bravery.

The event started when skydivers from Team Fastrax performed a flag jump honoring all members of the armed forces, retired and active.

Following the jump, Lebanon Mayer Amy Brewer and The Thank You Foundation President John Guinn presented Certificates of Appreciation, Thank You Cards, and Gift Certificates to the Golden Lamb Restaurant to five local Veterans.

Those honored on Saturday were

• SSG Terry Williams - U.S. Army, Iraq Veteran
• Benjamin K. Sweitzer II - U.S. Army, Iraq Veteran
• Lowell Rader - U.S. Army, Iraq Veteran
• Jeremy A. Shearer - U.S. Army, Iraq Veteran
• Benjamin Nelson - U.S. Marines, Afghanistan Veteran

In addition Lebanon Ford President Lisa Cryder presented The Thank You Foundation with a check for $250.00 to help support the foundations "Mission of Appreciation" for Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

The Foundation provided Thank You cards for children to sign that will be sent to soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The event was also the official launch of The Thank You Foundation/Team Fastrax national "Thank You" Tour, where skydivers will jump in honor of the Armed Forces at 24 locations nationwide throughout the year.
