DAYTON OH- July 4, 2007 - The Thank You Foundation & Team Fatrax landed at Fifth Third Field as part of the Dayton Dragon's 4th of July Celebration. Team Fastrax skydiver David Hart dropped just behind 3rd base with a 3500 sq ft American Flag. The ground crew for the jump included US Army recruits who were scheduled to leave for basic training the very next day. Each recruit was with a Certificate of Appreciation by The Thank You Foundation thanking them for their decision to serve their country. President and Founder of The Thank You Foundation stated, I am glad I got to meet these fine young men and women who are leaving to serve their country. Recruits honored at Fifth Third Field The Thank You Foundation were on hand to let patrons of the Dragons game sign Thank You Cards to be sent in care packages to those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. |
