The Thank You Foundation & Patriot Guard provide Welcome Home and Thank You to Viet Nam Vet

DAYTON OH July 17, 2007 - The Thank You Foundation along with members of the Patriot Guard Riders visited the home of Viet Nam Veteran Paul Stutz to say "Welcome Home" and "Thank You". Mr. Stutz served with the First Marine Division in Viet Nam from 65-69.

Mr. Stutz who is suffering from a host of medical issues had recently been released form the VA Hospital and is being cared for in his home by Hospice caregivers.

As the family was making funeral arrangements, Mr. Stutz expressed his desire to have the Patriot Guard Riders provide an escort for his funeral. In addition Mr. Stutz like many Veterans of the Viet Nam war never received a homecoming.

Mr. Stutz also expressed an interest in meeting a few of the Patriot Guard and wanting to say "thank you" to them for what they do to honor our nation's heroes.

The result was a contingency of over 40 Patriot Guard Riders and The Thank You Foundation coming to Mr. Stutz home and providing a long overdue "Welcome Home" and "Thank You".

It was a very moving experience said John Guinn President and Founder of The Thank You Foundation. One of the reasons the Foundation was started was because of my late mother's heart for our Viet Nam Veterans. To be able to honor Mr. Stutz today along with the Patriot Guard was fitting and very much on target to our mission.

Guinn added, It is always an honor to be involved with The Patriot Guard and a privilege to be able to shake the hand of a true hero like Paul Stutz.
