Soldiers of 107th Quartermaster Battalion get Heroes Welcome
|
JACKSON, MICHIGAN - On Saturday, August 4, 2007, The Thank You Foundation had the privilege of helping to welcome home 55 soldiers from the 107th Quartermaster Battalion. These brave soldiers returning home from deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom we welcomed home to Jackson, Michigan's Armory with a thunderous and breathtaking escort provided by the Patriot Guard Riders of Michigan. These 55 hometown heroes of the United States Army were each presented with 4 tickets to the Michigan Theatre. The children and grandchildren of the soldiers were also presented with goodie bags from State Farm Insurance Agency. Jennifer Adolph, the mother of PFC Michelle Adolph, who had contacted The Thank You Foundation to help in welcoming her daughter and her unit home, exclaimed "Your foundation's 'Mission of Appreciation' so warmly felt by the soldiers of the 107th was evident to all attending the Troop Homecoming". This was an exciting event for all involved, with a special "Thank You" to The Patriot Guard Riders of Michigan, The Michigan Theatre and State Farm for assisting in this event. Welcome home to the soldiers from the 107th Quartermaster Battalion to Jackson, Michigan!
