Columbus, Ohio September 14, 2007 - The Thank You Foundation again, along with Team Fastrax and the Columbus, Ohio US Army Recruiting Battalion, had the honor of participating in a very distinguished rivalry between Worthington Kilbourne High School and Dublin Scioto High School. This was the 13th meeting of these two schools that are less than three miles away from each other on the same road.

Prior to this match up, each school participated in a signing of Thank You Cards to be sent to our troops overseas and to be distributed to VA care facilities and Veterans in area nursing homes.

Team Fastrax performed skydives into the stadium prior to the game carrying a large American flag, a small Army flag, an Army banner, and the game ball. The game ball was presented to the officials by Team Fastrax along with Army coins presented by SSgt. Rice. Helping to "catch" the flags were new recruits and active duty military personnel from Worthington Kilbourne, Dublin Scioto, and The Thank You Foundation.

Recognized on the field were:
Larry Joda Dotson Jr (US Marines)
Louis Paul Morgal (US Marines)
Dorothy Dibble (US Army)
Michael Powell (US Army)
Jessica Woodall (US Army).
These are all students or graduates of Dublin Scioto and Worthington Kilbourne High Schools.

Also recognized and presented with certificates in private were the following faculty and staff of Worthington Kilbourne High School: John Cunningham (US Navy, Japan, Vietnam 1965-1969), William Weary (US Army, Pentagon), James Hensley (US Army, Korea, 1955-1956), Thom Green (US Navy, Korea, 1955-1956), Walter A. Reed (US Navy, Pacific Ocean, N. Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, 1977-2000), Joseph Parise (US Navy, Pensacola, 1981-1982), and Chris Stevens (US Army Retired - Major, Medical Services Corp).

There were close to 2,000 Thank You Cards signed with this event. The United States Army Recruiting Command also helped to pass buckets during the football game and collected $700 in donations to help send care packages to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Special thanks to Bill Weary of Worthington Kilbourne, Sherrie Steigmeier of Dublin Scioto, SSgt. Rice, Sgt. Lowder, Team Fastrax, and all those volunteers that helped to make this event an exciting success.

Both Worthington Kilbourne and Dublin Scioto are anticipating future events with The Thank You Foundation.
