CINCINNATI - October 22nd, 2007 - For those wanting to support troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, Gabriele Insurance Agency in Lebanon is the place to go. The Thank You Foundation has arranged to have their business act as a drop off point for care package items to be sent to those serving overseas.

"We see the partnership with Gabriele Insurance Agency as an excellent opportunity for those in Lebanon to help support not only its own sons and daughters but to all Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines" said John Guinn, President and Founder of The Thank You Foundation.

Gabriele Insurance Agency is located right in the heart of Lebanon at 3 North Broadway and will accept donations from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The Foundation will also provide special "Thank You" cards for people to sign at the drop off point. The cards will be sent in care packages and to VA hospitals across the country.

The Foundation operates primarily in the tri-state area and has also been active on a national level, however since its official launch in March of 2007, it has been very active the Lebanon community.

This past summer the Foundation collected and distributed items to soldiers serving with the 2-107th Calvary from Lebanon and in May of this year Mayor Amy Brewer along with the Foundation celebrated National Military Appreciation Month by honoring four local Veterans. Also in May the Foundation conducted a collection drive for the VA's Fisher House in Cincinnati at the Lebanon Wal-Mart Super Store.

In addition to these activities, in June the Foundation and the Patriot Guard Riders visited the Lebanon Country Manor Nursing home to honor its Veteran residents most of which served during World War II.

The Thank You Foundation is currently working with Lebanon Jr. High to provide support to those from the Lebanon area who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Each home room is adopting a Lebanon area Service Member and will be sending each one a care package just after Veterans Day. The Thank You Foundation helped to organize the project and will be helping to fund the shipping of the items. The school is planning a ceremony on November 9th to present the packages to the families of those who will be receiving the care packages.
